Ascension Church in Bogojina

The church in its current form was built in the years 1924 – 1927 instead of a single-nave Baroque church. The building is characterized by its cylindrical bell tower, whose columns, visible from afar, are reminiscent of an antique building.

Inside Bogojina’s Ascension Church, the mix of familiar and unusual elements is repeated. The ceiling is decorated with works of art made in the potteries of the Prekmurje region.
