Once upon a time, some parts of Austrian roads were paved with clinker bricks produced in Schattau, the Czech Šatov today. In Poysdorf, you still find a mile with these typically yellow bricks (Schattauer Pflaster).
Follow The Yellow Brick Road
While hiking the cellar lanes of Poysdorf, I heard about this road. I thought this would be the ideal place for whistling the famous tune “Follow The Yellow Brick Road” from the musical “The Wizard of Oz”. And so I did.
