A unique way to go up to the clock tower on top of a rock in the centre of Graz is taking this elevator. The lift connects a tunnel inside the rock with the plateau next to the clock tower of Graz. While going up in this glazed cab, one has an exciting view of the elevator illuminated in blue.
On a rainy summer evening I walked through this lane next to the Michaelerkirche in Vienna. Though it is situated in the centre of Vienna no one else was in the lane. A real place of silence in the middle of the metropolis. Do you know such silent places in your city too?

This chapel stands in Hinterbichl, a subdivision in the municipality of Prägraten am Großvenediger. The chapel dates back to 1710. For fans of sundials, it offers an elaborate piece.
An impressive place in Prägraten am Großvenediger is this mill called Islitzer Mühle. The mill driven by the power of the Islitzbach is still operating and open for public.

A steam locomotive known as Mh.3 seen in Krimml. The locomotive was built in 1906 and is still in operation along the railroad of the Pinzgauer Lokalbahn. These classic train trips are organized by Club 399.
While heading to Gerlos by car I came across this steam train using the railroad of the Pinzgauer Lokalbahn. The train maintained by Club 399 was drawn by a steam locomotive named Mh.3 built in 1906.
