In Bad Aussee, I discovered several traditional shop signs. The first one is a sign of a shoemaker. On top of it, you read the german name of this profession: Schuster.
This shop sign of a hatter shows the traditional gentleman’s hat worn in the Ausseerland area. The local name of this piece is Ausseerhut.
Shop sign of a textile manufacturer who offers hand block printing. This technique uses a wooden block (Model) for imprinting patterns on textiles.
