Some artwork in my city Graz. Well, I guess it is artwork. The pieces could also be eggs of dinosaurs. I’ll keep you informed! đ

After leaving Wels Central Station, I came across this public art, created by Michael Kienzer and Jochen Traar. Fixed to flexible poles, the lights began to shake as soon as a breeze blew through the street. Solar panels provided the lamps with energy.

On my way back to the railway station of Bad Goisern I came across this sculpture in a small park. I don’t know the artist or the real meaning of that artwork but it seemed to be a piece of the “pre-planking’ period. đ

On my walk through St. Pölten I came across this huge spiderweb. I guess it was sort of public art. Well, I do hope it was just public art.

For several weeks, a small house on the facade of the MUMOK (Museum Moderner Kunst Stiftung Ludwig Wien) attracted the visitors’ attention. The creator of this public art titled House Attack was the Styrian artist Erwin Wurm.

In 2003, the capital city of Styria got the title ‘European Capital of Culture’. In the same year, Graz Central Station was renovated. At that time, artist Peter Kogler decorated the entrance hall of the railway station in his unmistakable style.

Interesting version of a buffer stop seen in Hamm, Germany. I guess it is a kind of artwork as I saw this construction in a former industrial area. It is used as a park now.
