On a sunny May day, I visited an exhibition about the composer Joseph Haydn at Esterházy Palace (Schloss Esterházy). He worked here for several years in the service of the castle owner.

The church named Bergkirche (Hill Church) was founded in 1715. Today, it houses the mausoleum of Austrian composer Joseph Haydn. Therefore, people also call it Haydnkirche.

Austrian composer Joseph Haydn lived in this building from 1766 to 1778. Today, it houses a museum telling about his private life. For example, I learned more about his wife, Anna Aloysia. Another museum about Joseph Haydn is located in his former home in Vienna.
