On a cold winter day I walked through the gardens of the summer palace of Prince Eugene. The Upper Belvedere Palace (Oberes Belvedere) as shown above was only used for representation.
The home of the prince was in the Lower Belvedere Palace (Unteres Belvedere). Today both buildings house the Belvedere Museum which shows fine works created e.g. by Gustav Klimt and Egon Schiele.
