The Glockenspiel play its tunes four times a day. The performances take place on

  • 9 a.m.
  • 12 noon
  • 3 p.m.
  • 6 p.m.

At first glance, the Glockenspiel looks old. If you wait until the end, you will see miners with modern tools. Actually, the carillon belles and the movable figurines were donated by the Preussag Company in 1968. It happens on the occasion of the 1,000th anniversary of the Rammelsberg Mine.
