Glancing through the photos of my latest trip to the Austrian state of Burgenland, I came across this pic. You know, some parts of the border regions are blessed with silence. This shot evokes in me a feeling of silence, as the symbolists would do in one of their works.
For me, photography should be more than a technique or composition; it should be a way of capturing emotions. A photograph becomes truly powerful when it evokes a sensation that resonates with the viewer. The best images capture fleeting moments that might otherwise go unnoticed. They preserve not just a scene but an experience.
When a viewer connects with that feeling, the image transcends being a simple picture. It becomes a shared emotional experience, inviting others into the photographer’s perspective and leaving a lasting impression.
