In 2012 I visited the dOCUMENT (13) in Kassel. The Fridericianum was the first building I came across on this trip. A building with a catching story for museum buffs like me.

The first stop on our city walk in Bonn: The birthplace of composer Ludwig van Beethoven (1770-1827). At the Beethoven-Haus, I was especially impressed by a collection of hearing aids for the deaf artist.

View from the Stahlwelt in Linz
This pic is a view from the roof of the Stahlwelt. The Stahlwelt is an exhibition hall promoting products made of steel. The small hill in the middle reminds me of the Erzberg, a mining area for ore in the Austrian state of Styria.

21er Haus in Vienna
The former Austrian pavilion at Expo 58 in Brussels stands next to the Vienna central station (Wien Hauptbahnhof). In the beginning, it housed contemporary art of the 20th century. So it was nick-named 20er Haus. After remodelling from 2009 to 2011, it was renamed 21er Haus to reflect the new century.
