Olbrich House in Sankt Pölten, Austria

The Olbrich House (Olbrich-Haus) is named after its architect Joseph Maria Olbrich (1867-1908). It is considered one of the most beautiful Jugendstil buildings in Sankt Pölten. As this building was built for the physician Hermann Stöhr it is also known as Haus Stöhr.

Personally, I love not only the beauty of this building but also the sun reflection around the snakehead I caught on my photo. I guess the Aesculapian snake is referring to the fact that this building was built for a physician.
